The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) has announced funding for new Pediatric Networks for the Human Cell Atlas.  Their Request for Applications (RFA) will support collaborative teams of researchers to contribute healthy, single-cell reference data from pediatric tissue samples to the HCA.

Children are less commonly represented than adults in emerging tissue atlases, yet this data is critically important for understanding the cellular composition and maturation of organs during childhood.

This RFA is intended to support established teams as well as new collaborations, and they welcome proposals that will make significant contributions toward single-cell reference data for the community of patients, clinicians, and researchers engaged in pediatric research. Researchers can register interest with the HCA to find collaborators and connect with ongoing efforts.
